FN - Estelle's herb week

Quite in high spirits, Estelle started her week with the simple task of going over the herbs she knew and then trying to learn some more. This turned out to be less easy as she first has suspected. Not that she lacked the knowledge - no of course not, who would even think that? -, no the problem was... It was winter and herbs weren't exactly abundant at this point in time. She half wondered if she had better done this come spring, but then again, she had already started! The time of season couldn't keep her from completing her plan...right...?

After identifying what little herbs available, she decided to gather some the next. Of course in hind sight she had better gotten them the previous day as she spent a whole day on running around again gathering from the limited amount of the plants. She figured it would have to do.

Now the next day was an interesting one. She had actually been rather excited for it. The testing of the herbs. She sorted them in little piles and went through them mentally taking note of their color, form, size, smell and lastly taste. Most of the herbs she did already know so it wasn't all that spectacular, but the last one had been new. The results of that one carried on towards the next days.

The next two days were spent lying around. Estelle felt sick to the stomach and unfortunately unlike some other mammals, as a fawnling she was unable to just get it out and over with. As such she had to wait until it left her body the natural way. Conclusion? Mysterious herb turned out to be poisonous. Do not use unless you want to take revenge. In that case use freely. Oh, well, she supposed she could have died as well so in the end it wasn't that bad.
